After a six-year break, one of Torbay’s most exciting and much-loved community events is making its long-awaited return. The Pedal Kart Grand Prix is back for 18th July 2026, thanks to the vision and determination of Q from Q-Ball Media.

Pedal Power Returns

The last Pedal Kart Grand Prix was held in 2019 and proved to be a resounding success, with residents and visitors alike asking ever since for its  comeback. Now, this thrilling and family-friendly spectacle will once again bring together the local community, but this time with a special new chapter.

The 2026 event will take place on the beautiful grounds of Rowcroft Hospice, a cherished local charity dedicated to providing outstanding care and support for patients and their families. In partnership with local Rotary groups, community organisations, and valued suppliers, the Pedal Kart Grand Prix will not only deliver adrenaline-pumping fun but will also raise vital funds for Rowcroft Hospice’s essential work.

“Bringing the Pedal Kart Grand Prix back has been a dream of mine since the last event in 2019,” said Q, founder of www.q-ballmedia.co.uk. “It’s more than just a race – it’s a celebration of community spirit, teamwork, and fun. To host it in support of Rowcroft Hospice makes it even more meaningful. We can’t wait to see Torbay and the surrounding areas come together once again to create lasting memories while supporting a charity so close to many hearts.”

The Pedal Kart Grand Prix promises to a great community event with lots of teams all competiting for the winning position with teams, families, and businesses all encouraged to take part or cheer on from the sidelines. From the energy of the races to the buzz of community stalls and local  entertainment, this event is set to reignite a Torbay tradition and bring joy to people of all ages.
